Rousku - Vase
Hand-build small vase. The artist was inspired by childhood mushroom trips with her grandmother to create the shape of vase. The mushroom baskets were filled with various mushrooms, which the child thought were the most fun. This vase was born first and then it reminded me of “rousku” mushroom.
MATERIALS: Black clay with clear glaze (Varnia) inside. The product is not glazed on the outside. The surface has a warm clay feel and patterning.
SIZE Heigh approx. 15 cm

Käsin rakennettu pieni vaasi. Vaasin muotokieleen inspiraation lähteenä on ollut lapsuuden sieniretket mummon kanssa. Korit täyttyivät erilaisista sienistä, jotka olivat lapsen mielestä mitä hassuimpia. Tämä vaasi syntyi ensin ja sen jälkeen siitä tuli mieleen rousku.
MATERIAALIT: Musta savi sekä kirkaslasite (Varnia) purkin sisällä. Eli tuotetta ei ole lasitettu pinnasta, vaan pinnassa on saven lämmin tuntu sekä kuviointi.
